Emily Barresi is a photographer and independent filmmaker from Connecticut. She holds an MFA from Yale University. Her photographs and short films search for meaning and magic in suburban American spaces. She looks to adolescence, dreams, autobiography, and short fiction for inspiration. She has created on-site video installations in group exhibitions at spaces including UTA Artist Space, Los Angeles, and David Zwirner Gallery, New York.
Emily currently lives and works in New England.
